The Dola Super Cup Coastal Regional Tournament enters the home stretch with four exhilarating matches beginning today (Wednesday) in Mombasa County to set the stage for the competition.

The matches will be played at the Mombasa Sports Club on grounds A and B as teams from Mombasa, Kwale, Lamu, Tana River, Kilifi and Taita compete to qualify for the knockout stage. The initial encounters on Wednesday will see Mombasa B take on Kwale B while Lamu plays with Tana River.

This will be followed by a match between Mombasa A and Kwale A while Kilifi clash with Taita Taveta in matches that will be equally tense with each of the teams trying to dominate the group stages. The action will continue on Thursday, where six matches are scheduled. Mombasa A will take on Kilifi while Kwale A will face Taita Taveta. Kwale B will battle Lamu while Mombasa B will play Tana River.

In the afternoon, Mombasa A will play Taita Taveta while Kwale A will face Kilifi. The day will end with Kwale B playing Tana River while Mombasa B will be playing Lamu.

The tournament will then advance to the semi-finals with the first match scheduled for Friday. The winner of Group A will face the runner-up from Group B while the second semi-final will take place on Saturday, with the winner of Group B taking on the runner-up of Group A.

The tournament will conclude with the finals on Sunday. The day will begin with a match between the losers of the semi-finals to get the second runner-up, followed by the grand finale, in which the semi-final winners will battle for the title. The grand winner will receive Sh1,000,000 while the first and second runners-up will be awarded Sh500,000 and Sh250,000 respectively. The team finishing in fourth position will be awarded Sh100,000.

The Most Valuable Player (MVP), Best Player (Golden Boot), Best Goalkeeper (Golden Boot) and Best Coach will each be awarded Sh50,000.
