All set for the Dola super cup final

In a thrilling display of football prowess, two teams from Likoni constituency have advanced to the finals of the Dola Super Cup, to be held on Sunday at Mwahima Ground.

Likoni One and Likoni Two both qualified for the Dola Super Cup Mombasa County finals after winning their respective semifinal matches held at Mombasa Sports Club against Kisauni Two and Mvita One soccer clubs.

Likoni One narrowly defeated Kisauni Two 1-0 while Likoni Two registered a well-deserved 2-1 victory over Mvita One. This historic achievement highlights the exceptional talent and teamwork within the Likoni constituency, setting a high bar for future tournaments.

Likoni Member of Parliament, Mishi Mboko had earlier exuded confidence in the abilities of Likoni teams during the opening match of the Dola Super Cup between Mvita One and Likoni One. Mboko stated that teams from her constituency would win the tournament due to their exceptional talent. Her prediction has been validated as both teams have advanced to the finals.

The final which is set to take place at Mwahima Grounds is expected to draw large crowds and provide a fitting climax to the tournament.  The winners will represent Mombasa County in the coastal region’s Dola Super Cup and pocket Sh600,000 while the runners-up will get Sh480,000.
