Boost of Water Supply in Elburgon

Nakuru County Government has initiated the construction of a 50,000-liter water tank at Nyakiambi Farm in Elburgon Ward, Molo Sub-County. This project is expected to benefit over 500 residents by providing them with access to safe, clean, and potable water for domestic use.

The initiative aligns with Governor Susan Kihika’s commitment to ensuring the provision of quality and safe water to all residents of Nakuru County. The new water tank will enhance water supply and storage capacity, leading to improved health and sanitation conditions for the community.

Furthermore, the project supports the County’s broader goal of strengthening infrastructure and promoting sustainable water management practices. While inspecting the project today, the County Engineer Michael Kamau said the water will be enough to assist farmers irrigate their farms during the drought season instead of leaving them bare for five months due to lack of water.
