County government upgrades Shabab stage

The Nakuru County Executive Member for Infrastructure Eng. Michael Kamau today inspected the ongoing works at Shabab Stage in Biashara Ward in Nakuru City.

He said the project aimed at improving the working conditions and safety for the matatu saccos and commuters operating within the area, and it was a crucial development for the area.

During his visit, Eng. Kamau also assessed the progress at Naloki Stage, where the installation of cabro works has been done. The improvements were expected to enhance accessibility and ensure durability in the frequently used stage.  Chief Officer for Roads and Public Transport Samuel Ndegwa who was also present urged the contractor to expedite the project while maintaining high standards of quality.

His emphasis on timely completion and quality workmanship reflects the county government’s dedication to delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions. He said the Naloki stage would also play an important role in reducing congestion in the city and make the area more attractive to investors and businesspeople.

The inspection was attended by the Biashara Ward Administrator David Karanja, Steve Rono from the office of the area MCA, and Biashara Ward Coordinators Paul Wangai and Anthony Ngati.
