Diamond Trust Bank opens branch in Bomet

Diamond Trust Bank has opened its new branch in Bomet town adding the number of banks in the town to seven. The DTB which is situated along Kipchamba street opposite cooperative bank is scheduled for official opening on Wednesday.

This is according to branch manager Fredrick Koskei who said the bank was ready to serve the people of Bomet by offering a myriad of services. Koskei said this when he met Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok at his office Monday afternoon on a courtesy call.

Prof Barchok said he appreciated the bank for choosing Bomet as its destination for provision of banking services. He said the gesture was a demonstration that the bank and other investors had confidence in the county as a growing business hub.

“My administration is committed to provide a conducive environment for investors to thrive thus offering job opportunities, both directly and indirectly, for the residents of this county,” he said.

Other DTB officials present was Kibet Kirui, business Banker and Kericho DTB Branch Manager Winnie Rop.
