Kabondo Kasipul United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party officials have urged president William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua to end what they termed as public display of confrontation and instead to focus on working for Kenyans.
The officials led by the UDA chairperson Silas Okinyi Rao asked the president and his deputy to shun persistent personalised attacks on each other.
In a sub branch meeting held at the party office in Kadongo and attended by several UDA officials from the constituency on Monday, the members called on the president to steer the country toward achieving the party manifesto.
The official observed Kenyans are faced with a myriad challenges among them unemployment and tough economic situations that require concerted effort to solve.
“It is prudent enough to steer clear their agenda for development,” the constituency UDA chairperson said.
However, the officials promised to support president Ruto his tenure in office saying the bold step he took to include ODM party members in his cabinet has borne fruits of peace and tranquility in the whole country.
