Fake academic papers lands a public servant in court

Fake academic papers. General Manager of ICT at Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC) Mr Noah Oluoch Oketch has been charged in anti-corruption court in Nairobi for allegedly using forged academic certificates to secure employment at the agency.

He was arrested this morning by EACC officers and arraigned before Milimani  Anti Corruption Court Chief Magistrate Victor Wakhumile where he denied the charge.

He was charged that on diverse dates between April 01,2022 to August 31,2022 he fraudulently acquired a salary of Sh1, 455. 066.05.

The court released him on a bond of Sh1 million or alternatively pay a cash bail of Sh500 000.
