Joe Nyutu clarifies

Relief to Maragua MP Mary Wamaua after Murang’a Senator Joe Nyutu affirmed he will not be contesting for the parliamentary seat in 2027.

 Nyutu said he was interested in protecting his senatorial seat in the coming election.  “Have never salivated for the Maragua parliamentary seat as I was voted by Murang’a people  to play the senatorial role,” said Nyutu.

 He spoke when Cooperative Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui relaunched the Murang’a County Creameries (MCC) in Maragua town saying the people should ignore the rumors. Nyutu hails from Ichagaki ward in Maragua constituency.

 During the function, Nyutu hailed development programmes initiated by Governor Irungu Kang’ata saying  they are designed to uplift the living standard of the Murang’a people..

” Mty call  to the governor is to fix the challenges in the health sector for the benefit of the Murang’a people,” said Nyutu.

Present were Governor Kang’ata, MP Wamaua and Senator Veronica Maina among others.
