KDF chopper crash in Elgeyo Marakwet

It’s a sad moment in Kenya following the crash of a military helicopter while accessing a security situation along the bandit prone Elgeyo Marakwet belt.

The craft with eight military officers whose names and positions have not been established crashed and caught fire in the Kaben area in Elgeyo Marakwet county.

The aircraft was ferrying senior military officers among them Chief Defence Force Francis Ogolla. Security personnels have condoned the crash site in a rescue mission, conducting investigations of the cause of the air accident.
