Kiambu County leaders gathered at State House, Nairobi yesterday for a productive discussion with President William Ruto. The focus of the meeting was primarily to engage on the progress and execution of various government initiatives within the county.

The meeting highlighted the dedication of both national and local leadership to collaborative efforts aimed at fostering economic growth and development within Kiambu County.

Various leaders from Kiambu County present were elated saying that the meeting was very fruitful. Karungo Wa Thang’wa, , the Kiambu County Senator said he was happy about the president’s commitment to implementing “the Plan ” projects ensuring that Kiambu County receives a share of it.

Each MP outlined the needs of their constituents and highlighted their priority projects as well as the status of implementation of projects. Anne Wamuratha, the Kiambu County Women Representative, confirmed, “Our discussions focused on the progress and execution of government projects within the County.

The President expressed satisfaction that our leadership has aligned our initiatives with the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.”

Similarly, Alice Ng’ang’a, MP for Thika Town, stated, “We had a fruitful engagement with the President, where we discussed the progress and execution of National Government Projects in Kiambu County. We are united in advancing our shared objectives for the benefit of our people.”

John Njuguna Wanjiku (Ka Wanjiku), Kiambaa MP, emphasized on the importance of focusing on the needs of constituents, stating, “the meeting centered on the status and implementation of Government projects in our constituencies and county.”

President Ruto appreciated them for their project alignment programmes towards overarching Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.

“I have had a productive discussion with political leaders from Kiambu focusing on the status and implementation of Government projects in the county. I am pleased that the leaders have aligned their programmes with our Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.”

He expressed satisfaction with the discussions that primarily focused on the progress and implementation of various government projects within Kiambu County

Kiambu leaders noted that the meeting serves as evidence of the collaborative spirit between national and local leaders in advancing development agendas for the benefit of Kiambu County residents.
