The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has submitted a list to President William Ruto of nominees for the position of judges. In the list of 20 found suitable for the position are from the 95 individuals who were interviewed.
In the process four withdrew their applications and one appointed the holder of the office of the Chief Registrar of the Judiciary.
Those recommended for appointment are Moses Ado Otieno, Alice Chepngetich Bett Soi, Benjamin Mwikya Musyoki, John Lolwatan Tamar, Francis Weche Andayi, Andrew Bahati Mwamuye, and Julius Kipkosgei Ng’arng’ar.
Others are Noel Onditi Adagi Inziani, Tabitha Ouya Wanyama, Rhoda Cherotich Rutto, and Joe Omido Mkutu, Wendy Kagendo Micheni, Emily Onyando Ominde, Helene Rafaela Namisi, Alexander Muasya Muteti, Julius Mukut Nangea, Benjamin Kimani Njoroge, Caroline Jepyegen Kendagor, Stephen Nzisi Mbungi, and Linus Poghon Kassan.
Chief Justice Martha Koome said the names of the successful candidates for the positions have been forwarded to President William Ruto for appointment.
