Accident
Two people among them a Kenya Air force officer died, Sunday night, following a road accident along Bondo -Usenge Highway at Nyamonye Trading Center in Bondo Sub- County.
According to Siaya County Police Commandant, Cleti Kimaiyo, two motorcycles one ridden by the Air force officer, Paytone Opiyo, collided head on with another ridden by Richard Omondi, at about 9 pm on Sunday.
Mr Kimaiyo stated that the Army officer who was riding towards Bondo town, was carrying his brother, Felix Opiyo, who is currently fighting for his life at Bondo Sub-county Hospital.
The Duo, however, died on the spot and their bodies were moved to Bondo Hospital mortuary. awaiting postmortem.
The Police Commandant warned motorists and other road users to be careful on the road, to avert accidents.
