Kenya set to host ISF World Schools Championship

Kenya is set to host the 2024 International School Federation (ISF), World Schools Championship from 9th to 14th May this year at the Ngong Racecourse in Nairobi.

In a letter sent to all Regional Directors of Education signed by Nelson Sifuna for Principal Secretary Education, the officers have been directed to fast track the Cross-Country Championships calendar in their regions, to allow the availability of the team for their national duty.

Sifuna said that in order to beat the deadline, the Ministry of Education has organized team selection trial on March 27th to 28th, 2024 at Nakuru High School, Nakuru County.

“We invite the 2024 Regional Cross Country Champions, that will include six per category in U-12, U-15 and U-18, that comprises of both boys and girls,” said Sifuna.

He further noted that only the top 10 finishers in each category, will qualify for confirmation into Team Kenya.
