North Eastern Residents criticize DP’s remarks over Haji Ouster

Garissa County residents in Ijara constituency on Sunday Condemned Deputy President Rigathe Gachagua over his remarks that the National Intelligency Service chief spy Noordin haji should resign over job laxity. 

Garissa residents on social media have have gone on to criticize Deputy President’s Rigathi over his remarks this week on the resignation of the Government’s chief.

The Coastal region and Northeastern have since criticized the DP to substantiate his remarks, Ijara residents lead by salah Yarrow, Mohamed Masai,Abdi Hussein Sagal and Jamal Mohamed called on the DP to stop dividing citizens on tribal lines.

The Ijara residents have since asked the DP to apologize over his resignation remarks on Haji. Political leaders have commended Haji as a gallant soldier and asked the DP to stay off the matter.  Ijara youths have referred to the DP as a tribalism and instead asked him to reconsider his position as being second in command in Kenya.

They called on DP Gachagua to respect himself and wondered why he should demean the office of the Deputy President.  The residents have since asked the DP to slow his ambitions on the Presidential seat but seek mandate from the people in the 2027 General Elections.
