Siaya Senator Oburu Odinga has warned over the ongoing countrywide Generation Z protests as a recipe for a government military take-over. Oburu instead called on citizens to embrace dialogue for a long-lasting peace in the country.

He warned Kenya is not an ‘Island’ of peace and if things go wrong citizens will have no other country to boast as home. Oburu while speaking in Kisumu Town on Monday supported the Gen Z course in fighting for reforms in the Country pointing out that the ODM party is engaging the government on brokering long lasting peace resolutions in the country.

“We have not barred any of our members in Azimio from joining us in the talks but we as ODM also have our interests in government but at the same time cannot force anybody on our demands,” said Oburu.
