President William Ruto pledges to build extra classrooms

President William Ruto pledged to build and equip 24 extra classrooms for Lenana Primary School in Dagoretti South Constituency.

The head of state spoke when he inaugurated the institution saying the additional classrooms will serve more pupils in the Dagoretti South locality.

“Our focus is to ensure that all our children access the right learning environment to boost their academic performance,” said the President.

He was in the Ngando area, Nairobi County, to officially open the 22-classroom Lenana Primary that will initially accommodate more than 1,500 children.

During the function, Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu said the Ministry will allocate Sh10 million to the school for additional programmes.

The head of state was accompanied by Dagoretti South MP John Kiarie and Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja among other leaders.
