The Agriculture and Livestock Development Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi has survived the impeachment motion.
The embattled CS emerged unscathed from impeachment proceedings after the select committee chaired by Naomi Waqo deemed the allegations against him unsubstantiated.
Seven MPs voted against his dismissal from the office. Linturi’s impeachment motion was sponsored by Bumula MP Jackson Wamboka.
