Shine Kenya Shinda Mamili Kama Bingwa Announces its First Three Millionaires

Safaricom PLC campaign Shinda Mamili Kama Bingwa has unveiled its first three winners after four weeks of commencing the campaign. Nairobi Metropolitan marketing lead Tennyson Karia congratulated the three millionaires of shine Kenya who hail from Kasarani, Dagoretti and Kiambu at the event held at Kasarani in Nairobi.

Further, Karia appreciated Kenyans for being part and parcel of Safaricom PLC by partaking in their services and urged them to participate in the ongoing promotion scheduled to end on August 7th 2024.

“The promotion is automated by buying Shine Kenya bundles of twenty shillings through the USSD code *444# or *544# and sending 200 Kenyan shillings and above which gains one an entry point,” he explained. Karia observed that all winners were in their youth which means they have the capability to use the money to sustain and uphold their futures.

He encouraged Kenyans to continue participating in the promotion since they have a chance to win the grand prize of five million and an additional 1 million to develop their community. The first winner of the Safaricom Shinda Mamili Kama Bingwa was an enthusiastic twenty-year-old, Mary Wambui Chege a caregiver from Kasarani who in the beginning expressed her fear of the promotion being a scam.

“The money will enable me join a nursing school next year and help my parents, whereas the community money will go to Samaria Children’s home,” said Wambui. An overwhelmed Mary Mbula Munyasya was the second winner from Kiambu who expressed her plans of committing her winnings to pay her children’s fee and open up her own business.

The last winner was a 22-year-old Mary Njoki Ngonyo, an Occupational therapist from Dagoretti, who anticipating who pledged her winnings to support special needs children, open up a pantry shop and also grace her family.
