Six died, Seven injured in a road accident in Narok

Six people died while seven others suffered serious injuries in a road accident that occurred along Narok – Bomet road near the Silanga area in Narok.

Confirming the incident, the Narok Central Sub county commandant John Momanyi has said that a total of six people lost their lives while the other seven suffered serious injuries.

Momanyi added that the accident involved two motor vehicles Toyota Sienta and a Subaru Forester both heading in different directions, and said that the accident was head on collision.

The injured were rushed to cottage hospital while the bodies of the deceased were taken to Narok Referral Hospital Mortuary pending identification and postmortem. Hence, both motor vehicles towed to Narok Police station yard pending inspection.
