Youth in Ijara benefit from mentorship workshop

Mentorship

Impact Initiative (Triple I), a non-profit making Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), has organised a two-day seminar for youth in Ijara Sub-county of  Garissa, with an aim of transforming the lives of the youth through mentorship programme.

The workshop brings together participants from Holugho, Bothai and Masalani divisions who will interact with resource persons with expertise in a range of disciplines, including education, business, career guidance and general social life.

According to the Ijara Impact Initiative (Triple I), Chief Executive (CEO), Fatuma Aden, the seminar organised in conjunction with the Department of Gender, County Government of Garissa, is a follow-up of another such transformative mentorship program workshop that was conducted  at the  Ijara Girls Primary and Junior Secondary School.

Ms Aden assured that Impact Initiative (Triple I) is committed to investing in education, empowering the next generation of leaders through mentorship, and fostering a brighter future for the youth and  ijara community in General.

“Through this initiative, Triple I aims to inspire and support young learners in their educational journey, ensuring they have the tools and guidance necessary to succeed in  leadership and empower them physically and intellectually, to ensure Ijara youth and residents prosper to greater heights of prosperity,” added CEO  Fatuma Aden

The meeting was attended by Ijara leadership among them the Ijara Youth Leader, Yakub Yarrow, several Departmental Heads, Chief and their Assistants, teachers and School Head teachers among other dignitaries.
